Hi Guys,
I recently bought Viewsonic Viewpad 7q Pro from China. The problem was it did not have any google app in it. So I successfully rooted it, installed gapps and in process removed some Chinese apps from it as I had no use for them. I guess I removed some system app, and now my tab is stuck at ROM Boot animation. Unfortunately I only have stock recovery and adb was disabled and hence I have problems installing custom recovery as well. Thats when I came across SP Flash tool and I am planning to flash a custom recovery using it. My only problem is I dont have the Scatter file for it.
It is a MT8382 device. I am not sure if that is enough information for you guys to help. Let me know if you need any further info. Thanks in advance

if you have working recovery then you can reset it to stock if you have not installed any custom rom yet.

Yeah the stock recovery is working. All I did was to add gapps to the /system/app folder. I tried doing a factory reset from recovery, but still the problem persists. Is there something else that I should be doing?

@androidmaster I just read your reply on the other thread as well. Like I mentioned Factory reset from recovery did not work. As I had removed some system app, I am guessing reseting the phone does'nt bring them back. And it is the removal of these system apps that is causing all the problem.

i dont understand why you delete system apps?
anyway try flashing factory image the only solution
