Android emmc scatter file are only for mediatek phones and we use this file for flashing and performing other task using sp flash tool
If you open SP Flash Tool, You will see two text boxes for inputting da agent path and scatter file path. This file is used there. It's basically a catalogue for all the rom files you are going to flash into the phone that are already residing in the same folder.
